DIGESTAID is a startup focused on the development of Artificial Intelligence solutions for application to several fields of digestive healthcare. Our main drive is to overcome the diagnostic limitations of multiple endoscopic methods, from capsule endoscopy to digital cholangioscopy.
We have recently secured seed funding and we are looking for top talent interested in working in AI for good, who have the drive to take the business to new heights and deliver new products. Our office has just been set up in UPTEC Asprela I, which takes advantage of a great location and urban mobility, but we are open to hybrid and remote arrangements.
About the role
This will be the first hire of an engineer in the DevOps field in the company. You will work closely with the CTO and COO to build solutions that improve the efficiency and happiness of the engineering and R&D teams as well as reduce the lead time to take new AI models to market. This is an interesting opportunity for those in the DevOps field who have or seek to have MLOps experience, and who like to build solutions while still being open to take on managerial responsibilities in the long run.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer science, software engineering, systems engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience advising and implementing DevOps practices in engineering teams
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment in containerised environments
- Knowledge of security practices such as identity and access management, authentication and authorization protocols
- Eagerness and openness to learn whatever is necessary to deliver
- Good English communication skills
Desirable
- Experience managing Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
- Experience with Google Cloud environments and products
- Previous experience in technical leadership and management
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience in API Management
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools
- Experience with ArgoCD or other CD tools
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build, Google Cloud Developer Tools
- Experience in DNS and SSL management solutions and approaches
- Experience in software testing automation
